Bit of a crazy few days just gone, been all over London and the South East catching up with some great people.
Met with architects, interior designers and design and build teams, all talking through everything shading, from internal solutions right through to external.
Some really good conversations around early stage design, getting the details right, and making sure everything actually works when it hits site.
Always good to be out and about, seeing projects in person and building relationships properly rather than just emails and calls.

It has that perfect balance of clean and playful, and the colour just works without feeling too much. The red Roman blind softens the light nicely and adds a bit of warmth to the space.
But the best bit has to be the Lego. The Pikachu, the figures on the shelves, even the little details around the room, it just gives the whole space personality and makes it feel lived in.
This is exactly how a room should feel. Practical, well thought through, and still fun.

From early conversations through to final install, this one was all about getting the balance right between design, function, and finish.
Handmade curtains and Roman blinds crafted in our Suffolk workroom, combined with carefully integrated systems to keep everything looking clean and considered.
It is always the detail that makes the difference. From how things sit, to how they move, to how they feel in the space.

Great day in London catching up with some familiar faces and meeting some brilliant new ones too.
There is something about being out, having real conversations, and exploring ideas face to face that just hits differently. Lots of exciting discussions around potential collaborations and some genuinely interesting projects on the horizon.
Even better when the sun is shining which feels quite fitting when most of the conversations are about shading solutions.
Grateful for the time, the conversations, and what is to come. London always delivers.

Something that often gets missed on site is how much impact window treatments and automation can have.
They are usually picked up late, once most of the big decisions are already locked in.
But that is where things can get tricky.
Wiring, control points, and overall integration all need a bit of thought early on to avoid last minute compromises.
When it is planned properly, it just works.
And when automation is done well, it can completely elevate a space without adding complexity.
A small bit of planning early on makes a big difference later.
