The markilux markant awning system is not only a free-standing awning, it’s also a high-tech fabric cover. The combination of these two elements has earned the markilux markant system several awards, including the German Design Award 2019 and the Iconic Awards – Innovative Architecture 2018.
Some of the features and benefits of the markilux markant awning system:
- Maximum size: Up to 600 x 600 cm (can be extended as required for large-area shading).
- Standard height: 260 cm, special heights possible.
- Secured with sturdy, square aluminium posts: The awning is very stable and can withstand winds of up to 30 mph (Beaufort 6).
- Available with wall connection: The awning can also be mounted on a wall, if desired.
- Seven standard frame colours: Choose from seven different frame colours to match your décor.
- Optionally available with infrared heaters and various lighting options: The awning can be equipped with infrared heaters for added warmth, or with pivotable and dimmable LED-Spots and LED-Lines for ambient lighting.
