Shaped Bespoke Handmade Curtains for Apex Windows in High Residential Property
Teaming up with an Interior Designer, we successfully executed a High Residential project located in Stanmore, Middlesex. The project encompassed an array of Silent Gliss Tracks, showcasing a blend of manual operation—utilising the Hand system (6840 for Wave and 1280 for Standard Headings)—and electrically operated Tracks (5600 System).
These tracks seamlessly integrated into the client’s Control 4 Home AV System, providing a sophisticated and automated shading solution. In addition to the advanced track systems, our expert team at Shading Specialists curated and installed Roman Blinds and Roller Blinds, contributing to the overall elegance and functionality of the space.
The customer presented a unique challenge with their expansive Triangular Apex Windows, desiring a subtle yet elegant High Residential aesthetic. Although Duette Blinds are commonly employed for Apex Windows, we engaged in a collaborative effort to develop a bespoke curtain specification that would harmonize seamlessly with the distinctive window architecture.
This involved a careful consideration of materials, colours, and design elements to achieve a refined and sophisticated look, ultimately tailored to the customer’s specific taste and the distinctive characteristics of the Triangular Apex Windows.
Deploying Silent Gliss 1280 Curtain Tracks meticulously placed along each incline of the Apex Glazing, strategically inserting stops between gliders to secure the top heading, we seamlessly integrated our in-house crafted Double Pinch Pleat Curtains, specifically tailored for the distinctive Triangular Apex Window application.
Elevating the overall visual appeal, custom-made tiebacks in coordinating fabric were carefully fashioned to elegantly hold back these curtains, exemplifying a meticulous attention to detail. The dual-layered composition, consisting of a Sheer and a Blackout curtain, not only provides a soft and visually pleasing atmosphere but also serves a versatile purpose. This dynamic combination offers the client a harmonious synthesis of light control, blackout capability, and enhanced thermal insulation, ensuring a tailored and practical solution that effortlessly meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
