Expect to see a lot of blue this year, as PANTONE just announced that ”CLASSIC BLUE” will be their 2020 colour of the year!
There are so many ways to incorporate the classic blue into your home and today we decided to use this vibrant colour next to the traditional solid wood, giving a whole New Fresh- Natural vibe to your home! What makes it look so organic is the contrast between the ‘New & Old’, in fact, the Brown colour alongside the Classic Blue breaks the barrier of what we think is traditional and ‘old’, such as wooden furniture or an old leather Sofa.
Given that brown is a complementary colour of blue, it blends well with the classic blue and it is a perfect combination of colours and texture if you are looking to refresh your home for this Spring. Turns out that this prosperous – dark blue is the most popular colour on-trend, well appreciated by many interior designers for its versatility as it can be used in a variety of ways… The ‘Classic Blue’ is a shade close to cobalt, in fact, it goes particularly well with warm-toned accessories.
Moodboard – Blinds, curtains and poles for Winter & Spring 2020
In this dynamic mood board, you can’t miss the chrome-covered pieces that are in vogue this year. Like our Eectric Tracks and Poles with ball finials in wood or white metal finishes. Also, Sliding Panels and Pleated Blinds seem to never go out of fashion so it can be a very good investment if you are looking for a long term piece into your home. In addition, if you are a creative person, the Roller Blinds can be a good option to gain depth in any room by playing with different lengths to make your room appear extra-spacious.
We are already big fans of this CLASSIC BLUE… are you? Let us know in the comments below!
